It's loosely inspired by my own path, including the supermarket setting where I met my husband and still work today! I'm writing this book in the 'here and there' moments of being a mum, and I can't wait to share Gracie and Dan with you.

I'm a 28-year-old wife, mum of two, and a part-time supermarket worker from the UK, who has spent my entire life lost in the pages of a romance novel. From a young age, I've been an avid reader, obsessed with the way a story can capture the messy, beautiful reality of falling in love.
After years of reading every trope and vibe imaginable, I decided it was time to write my own. With the encouragement of my husband (the real-life Dan!), I'm finally bringing the story of Gracie and Dan to life. While their journey is fiction, it's deeply rooted in the things I know best: finding your voice through anxiety, the chaos of family, and that life-changing moment when you realise someone truly has your back.
I'm currently writing my debut novel in the quiet moments between school runs and supermarket shifts.
